Professional Services: Inspiring the Extraordinary

to read

You can help to shine a light on the special contributions that colleagues in Professional Services make at the University through a brand new awards scheme.

The first ever Professional Services: Inspiring the Extraordinary awards ceremony will be held in January.

The window to nominate colleagues to recognise their achievements over the past academic year is now open, and all staff are being invited to get involved.

Joanne Race, Director of Human Resources, said:

This is the first of what we hope will be an annual event to recognise the contributions of colleagues in Professional Services.

“There are nine award categories that will help us celebrate outstanding achievements, so we’re asking members of staff to consider nominating a colleague. However, you only have a limited time to think about your nominations, so please take some time to consider as soon as possible!”

The window for award submissions closes on 21 October.

To help you to think about your nominations, you could consider times when colleagues in Professional Services have demonstrated one (or more) of the University’s values: inspiring, challenging, innovative, responsible and enabling.

You can find out more about the awards and get details of how to nominate on the website.
