Summer delight

to read

Spread over two weeks from 27 June – 7 July 10,000 students will graduate in 34 separate ceremonies at Durham Cathedral.

As well as ceremonies for our 2022 graduands we are also holding ceremonies for graduates from the postponed Summer 2021 and Winter 2022 cohorts.

As always, we are incredibly grateful to all our colleagues who make the occasion so special for all our visitors - either helping to prepare for the ceremonies or to work as a volunteer at the events. To find out more about our colleagues who make the days so special view our staff and marshals' film.

We are always on the look out for more volunteers. It’s such a happy occasion and it's fully paid as part of colleagues’ five days annual volunteer allocation. You also get a free lunch and refreshments.

Look out for the next issue of Dialogue, which will have more information about the summer ceremonies, and check out this article which goes behind the scenes to talk to some of our colleagues about their experiences of congregations – there are some interesting stories too!
